- Soak sesame seeds in water for about 8 hours.
- Drain the soaked sesame well.
- Pour salt into an unoiled pan and roast slowly until it turns slightly grayish. Pour the salt into a bowl.
- Add the sesame seeds to the same pan and slowly roast them again until they reach a slightly brownish color. Add the sesame seeds to the bowl with the salt.
- Also lightly roast the nettle seeds in the pan.
- Crush the salt-sesame mixture slightly with a mixer or in a mortar.

Tip: It's better to make smaller quantities as sesame contains natural oils and can go rancid after a few months. In addition, the spice should not be heated, but is only intended for finished dishes.
